Dr. Venkataramana Rao Navva is a highly accomplished biotechnology leader with over 30 years of industry experience specialising in development, scale-up and manufacturing. Currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Protaxis Biosolutions, he holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and an M.Tech from JNTU. His career includes senior leadership roles at MSN Laboratories, Virchow Biotech and Hetero Drugs, where he managed large teams and headed facility expansions up to 20 KL capacity.

He possesses deep technical expertise in recombinant therapeutic proteins, enzymes, secondary metabolites and probiotics, with hands-on mastery over fermenters ranging up to 160 KL. Dr. Navva has driven end-to-end biotech operations, process optimisation and the establishment of cGMP manufacturing facilities.

Narasimha Rao Nedunuri has over 26 years of hands-on experience in life sciences research, with deep expertise in cancer biology and biologics. He co-founded CLONZ Biotech in 2010 with a vision to make complex cancer medicines affordable and accessible to low- and middle-income populations worldwide. He led end-to-end in-house development of biopharmaceuticals with a dedicated team of more than 50 scientists and an investment of over USD 25 million.

An invited speaker at conferences across the USA, UK, Singapore and Australia, he has presented on biotechnology advancements and India’s growing global role. Following cancer biology research at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), he worked as a Product Manager for the Indian subsidiary of a US-based multinational and later as Group Leader – Proteomics & Genomics at a contract research organisation.

In a previous entrepreneurial venture, he led the establishment of a cGMP biologics facility and development of a biosimilar monoclonal antibody pipeline. He also mentors at biotech incubation centres and serves on scientific committees across India.

Muralidhar Reddy Mamilla is one of the Directors of Protaxis Biosolutions, bringing extensive experience in the development of biosimilar monoclonal antibodies. He coordinates product development programmes across research, process development and commercialisation functions.

He was part of a pioneering team at a pharmaceutical company involved in the development of the world’s first therapeutic biosimilar monoclonal antibody. His expertise has since guided multiple biotech organisations in accelerating their biosimilar development pipelines. His innovative and commercially driven approach contributes to Protaxis’s growth.

Dr. Vijay Babu Garlapalli is a biotechnology professional and entrepreneur with over two decades of industrial experience in bioprocess development, mammalian cell culture, fermentation and therapeutic biologics. His expertise in biosimilar monoclonal antibody development includes cell line development, upstream process optimisation, bioreactor scale-up and process performance.

He helps shape the company’s scientific direction, technology strategy and long-term innovation roadmap. He focuses on translating scientific capabilities into scalable, efficient and quality-driven biomanufacturing processes while fostering collaboration across research, development, technology partnerships and manufacturing.

Combining industrial experience with an entrepreneurial mindset, he works to build biologics development capabilities, accelerate technology adoption and advance cost-effective, high-quality biologics in support of the company’s long-term objectives.

Dr. Satyanarayana Rajulapati is a biopharmaceutical leader with over 23 years of experience spanning biologics R&D, quality operations and global regulatory work. Most recently, he served as Lead-Quality at CLONZ Biotech, where he helped establish and raise quality standards at a biotech GMP facility. Earlier leadership roles included Sun Pharma Biologics, Dr. Reddy’s, Biogenomics, Wockhardt, Zenotech and Shantha Biotech.

In previous roles he contributed to commercial manufacturing operations, global technology transfers and CQV of greenfield and brownfield projects. At Sun Pharma and Biogenomics, he led biologics quality control and quality assurance teams and contributed to biosimilar products.

His expertise spans biologics, including vaccines and therapeutics, cross-functional leadership and building high-performing teams. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Preston University, Australia.

Dr. Sreenivasu Karra is one of the Directors of Protaxis Biosolutions Private Limited, with over 25 years of industry experience focused on innovation and development across biopharmaceuticals, biotechnology and recombinant therapeutics.

His research career includes postdoctoral work at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), the University of Maryland Cancer Center and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, USA. His academic portfolio includes nine international journal publications and two patents.

His leadership in biosimilar development across biotech and pharmaceutical companies, from concept to execution, has helped guide the company’s product pipeline.

S SV Satya Narayana is a pharmaceutical business professional with nearly 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical trading, third-party manufacturing and PCD business. His work at Synergy Pharmaceuticals spans more than 500 molecules and fixed-dose combinations across general and speciality segments, including gynaecology, neuropsychiatry and intensive care. His expertise also includes probiotics, particularly Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bacillus clausii.

Synergy Pharmaceuticals operates across India, with regional offices in Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Chandigarh, and works with more than 50 manufacturing partners, including Akums, Medicef, Windlas, Associated Biotech and Synokem. Its divisions include Qualinova Lifesciences, Gen Biosis, CIBA Biogenics, Synomed Healthcare and Pedibliss. His business interests include expansion into biotechnology, export-oriented operations and quantum-assisted drug delivery.

Originally from Bhimavaram in West Godavari district, he is the father of two daughters, both doctors. Outside his professional commitments, he enjoys cricket, music and road travel across states.
